Jill G. VanderPloeg is a litigation lawyer whose practice emphasizes complex commercial litigation and appellate work. Ms. VanderPloeg graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law, where she was General Editor of the Denver University Law Review. Ms. VanderPloeg spent her first five years of practice in Colorado, where she was associated with a premier Denver-based law firm with an impressive firm client base including the Denver Broncos football franchise and franchise owner, Hensel Phelps Construction Company, US West and major national securities brokerage firms.

Ms. VanderPloeg worked on a variety of commercial litigation and appellate matters for these and other firm clients. Ms. VanderPloeg later joined the highly respected national firm Kutak Rock, P.C., where she was the senior litigation associate in its Denver office working on matters involving complex commercial litigation and creditor bankruptcy. In late 2001, Ms. VanderPloeg relocated to Texas where she joined a well known Dallas plaintiff's firm practicing in the area of toxic torts before joining Gerard Singer Levick, P.C. in December 2002.

Ms. VanderPloeg is admitted before all Texas and Colorado state courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and for the District of Colorado.
